Feeding your family should be simple, right? But, it seems to grow more complicated each year. No matter who you’re feeding, there is so much information and pressure surrounding food now. For me, a person who likes to cook, it can be too much.
When I was feeding just Keegan and I, I could spend a lot of time making dinner or just grab a pizza, but with a baby, I’ve had to reconfigure how we eat. Grabbing a sandwich doesn’t work for an infant, so I’ve had to learn how to make things quickly that I still feel good about. You’ll find quick, healthy recipes in the “Big Kids” section.
If you are thinking of making your own baby food, you should check out the “Baby Food” section. I decided to make Miss E’s baby food, because I like to cook. And, I’m glad I did it, but it can be daunting. Determining what they can eat and when should eat it is a lot more difficult than it should be. There is a lot of conflicting information out there. I’d recommend talking to your pediatrician first. If yours is as great as mine, their nurse line will field calls on any questions you have. I’ve compiled a short list of Ellie’s recipes. Feel free to leave comments if you have questions, and I’ll try to answer them as best I can.
