My DVR

Every year, I give my picks for fall shows. Here’s what I’ll be storing in my DVR this year. Now, if someone will just take care of Ellie, I should be able to get to all of these.

Sunday
7:00 – Once Upon a Time (Sept. 29) – Last season was a pretty lackluster, but I’m a sucker for a fairy tale, so I’ll be tuning in again.
8:00 – Revenge (Sept. 29) & The Mentalist (Sept. 29) – Revenge was kind of “meh” last year. I’ll give it another try, but this could get dropped. The Mentalist will always be on my list, because Simon Baker is one dreamy man. (Sigh)
9:00 – Betrayal (Sept. 29) – This a new show. It’s supposed to be soapy and drama filled. I figure it’s right up my alley.

Monday
7:00 – Hart of Dixie (Oct. 7) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Sept. 24) – HART OF DIXIE! I can’t wait. This show has a Gilmore Girls’ charm that I just can’t get away from. I would probably not choose SHIELD on my own, but I have a feeling the husband will want to see this one, so we can only assume I will be watching it as well.
9:00 – The Blacklist (Sept. 23) – The Blacklist is about a criminal who starts working with FBI to track down another criminal. It stars James Spader and looks like it has a pretty intriguing premise.

Tuesday
8:00 – New Girl (Sept. 17) – A favorite
8:30 – The Goldbergs (Sept. 24) & The Mindy Project (Sept. 17) – I love me some Mindy Kaling. This show cracks me up. The Goldbergs is a comedy about a family that takes place in the 80’s. It looks like it could be pretty funny.

9:00 – Sons of Anarchy (Sept. 10) – A pretty disturbing show with a fantastic cast and excellent writing. I can’t wait to see what happens this season.

Wednesday
8:00 – Modern Family (Sept. 25)
8:30 – Super Fun Night (Oct. 2) – Rebel Wilson will star in her first TV show. It looks like it could be pretty bad, but I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt.

9:00 – Nashville (Sept. 25) – Obsessed with this show. Obsessed.

Thursday
7:00 – Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (Oct. 10) – This is a spin-off of Once Upon a Time (duh). Basically, Alice is put in the loony bin as an adult, because no one believes her story. She returns to Wonderland in search of a lost love.

8:00 – Reign (Oct. 17) – I mean its Royals on the CW. Is anyone surprised I plan to watch it? No one?

9:00 – Scandal (Oct. 3) & Elementary (Sept. 26) – We came to Scandal late in the game. I’m actually behind a season, but the fast paced dialogue and twisting plot lines are fantastic. I’ll be playing catch up and then tuning in to watch it live this season. Elementary is a smart and interesting reboot of Sherlock Holmes. If you haven’t been watching it, check it out.

Friday
7:00 – The Carrie Diaries (Oct. 25) – So, this has probably been moved to Friday to die, but I am hopeful the CW will at least give us another season. This show is sweet and touching and reminds me of being 16.
